Housekeeping Operations Manager

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Housekeeping Operations Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring that all hotel rooms and public areas are maintained to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure that all housekeeping staff are trained and equipped to perform their duties efficiently.
- Monitor and control the inventory of cleaning supplies, chemicals, and guest supplies.
- Co-ordinate closely with the Engineering Department for any maintenance works to be carried out.
- Assist in carrying out daily inspections of the hotel in all areas and to ensure the housekeeping standards are maintained to the highest level.
- Recommend and implement procedures for routine tasks so as to enable employees to develop consistent work habits.
- Counsel, motivate and discipline staff as required.
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you will need to have a strong background in hotel management, preferably with experience in the housekeeping department. You should also possess excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work effectively under pressure.
In addition, you will need to have a good understanding of the hotel's policies and procedures, as well as a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of customer service.
