IT Risk Governance Specialist

The Process Assurance Team plays a pivotal role in ensuring compliance with System Development Methodology (SDM) processes.
As a quality gatekeeper for SDM major milestones, you will review entry and exit criteria, artefacts such as functional and design specifications, testing documents, and other project deliverables.
You will work closely with project and technical delivery managers to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Key responsibilities include:
- Establishing controls and compliance checks on SDM processes
- Conducting quality gate reviews for SDM major milestones
- Performing walkthroughs and interviews with project and application delivery managers to drive process adherence
- Reporting findings and providing consulting support in ensuring compliance with procedures
- Designing, formulating, and enforcing governance & compliance process improvements
Additional responsibilities may include management reporting and centrally driven project initiatives as needed.
Requirements:
- Degree in computer science or engineering or related disciplines
- At least 6-9 years of relevant experience in IT process compliance, audit, or project management
- Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, organization, and analytical skills
- Strong working experience with MS Office, MS Visio, MS Project, and SharePoint
- Prior experience in IT risk management and security is an added advantage
