Job Description

We are seeking a talented Backend Engineer to join our Global E-commerce Recommendation Architecture team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-performance computing frameworks and storage systems. You will also work closely with applied machine learning engineers to build scalable systems that support innovative algorithms and techniques.


Responsibilities
  1. Build and maintain high-performance online services for the recommendation system.
  2. Design and develop high-performance computing frameworks and storage systems.
  3. Analyse user needs and develop software solutions.
  4. Update software and enhance existing capabilities.
  5. Work with computer hardware engineers to integrate hardware and software systems.

QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:
  • Final year or recent graduate with a background in Software Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • Experience programming in at least one of the following programming languages: C, C++, Java, or Golang.
  • Effective communication skills and a sense of ownership and drive.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Agile and quick self-learner with strong product ownership and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Good collaborator and team player with experience working in fast-moving environments.
  • Experience in E-commerce-related areas is a plus.
