Job Description

As a Global Material Planning Lead, you will be responsible for leading strategic planning activities for all nominated source materials from long-term strategic planning to seasonal planning process and material preposition strategies. Your goal is to maximize product availability in collaboration with fabric engineers, GSP, RSP, PSP, and other functions.

Your responsibilities include ensuring delivery of direct source suppliers and their OTP performance, supporting exceptional case settlement, and exploring best practices to smooth the buy process. You will also utilize your relationship-building skills and business sense to drive decision-making that ensures processes are integrated and aligned across all regions.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for this role include On-Time Performance, Buy Acceptance Rates, and Quality, CSR, and other relevant brand needs. You will work collaboratively with Global Planning and Product Supply departments to achieve these KPIs.

In addition, you will provide strategic leadership and mentoring to team members, maximizing their development and driving clear succession plans. You will also identify supply chain dynamic risks and provide risk assessment analysis and mitigation plans to stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Data Analysis and Visualization
You have excellent English writing and speaking skills and experience with data visualization software (Tableau, PowerBI, etc.) and data analytics/exploration software (Alteryx, Knime, etc.).

Critical Thinking and Problem-Solving
You possess critical thinking/problem-solving abilities linked with story-telling skills and can hypothesize and create/analyze multiple what-if scenarios.

Supply Chain Experience
You have a strong understanding of supply chain processes, with experience in forecasting and S&OP. Proven management experience including leading, coaching, mentoring, and building effective teams within departments is also required.
