Asset Management Associate

We are seeking a highly skilled Asset Management Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the investment manager in the day-to-day management of investment products.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Support the investment manager in managing cash flow projection, cash management and monitoring of corporate actions
- Trade and FX order booking on Bloomberg and reconciliation of portfolio trades and cash flow between Bloomberg data and broker statements
- Track and analyse portfolio performance versus benchmark indices and risk parameters
- Conduct investment research across multiple asset classes
- Monitor and analyse global macroeconomic developments and Asia-Pacific equity, bond, and FX markets, providing insights to the investment team
- Assist in portfolio construction, rebalancing, and trade execution in collaboration with the Portfolio Manager
- Conduct due diligence on counterparties and KYC on potential clients
- 1-3 years of professional experience in fund houses or asset management arms of investment banks
- Ability to prioritise and multi-task in a dynamic environment
- Ability to take on any adhoc tasks as assigned by line manager
- Good understanding of financial markets, traditional and alternative asset classes, and industry landscape
- Proficient in Powerpoint and Excel
- Full proficiency in English is a plus to liaise with colleagues
