Job Description
Qualifications/Requirements:
2-3+ years of experience in commodity markets, either as a trading assistant or in operations support.
Strong analytical and organizational skills; proficiency with commodity trading software and data systems (TT / Trayport / WebICE / ICE E-Confirm / Beacon / Bloomberg / Openlink-Endur).
Experience with trade, position, and valuation reconciliation with clearing houses and brokers.
Experience with derivatives and physical markets is preferred.
Detail-oriented, results-driven, team player, capable of quick and independent decision-making, excellent communicator, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Onshore China Exchange experience (ZCE/DCE/SHFE/CIFFEX) is preferred.
Commodity compliance experience is also preferred.
Role Overview:
Master the firm's trade capture, trade management processes, and reporting tools to support internal clients.
Understand operational front-to-back processes to improve support efficiency.
Build and maintain relationships with executing brokers, prime brokers, fund admins, and other counterparties.
Adopt and promote new technology solutions as they become available.
