Healthcare Informatics Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Healthcare Informatics Specialist to support our healthcare practices by assisting nurses and physicians in onboarding into information systems. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping a high performing & engaging culture.
Key Responsibilities- Design training programs for nursing and physician staff on the proper use of electronic medical record systems.
- Liaise between clinical staff and IT technical staff to translate clinical needs into system requirements.
- Create effective strategies and practices for incorporation into systems to improve workflows and clinical outcomes.
- Assist in the evaluation of clinical information systems to assess suitability in meeting clinical and operational needs.
- Support new initiatives and champion nursing and physician staff to implement changes.
- Participate in contribution of health records to National Electronic Health Record (NEHR).
- Post-basic qualification or Advanced Diploma in Nursing.
- Minimum 3 years as Nurse in acute hospital setting.
- IT savvy and good analytical skills.
- Fast learner, able to pick up new IT jargons and technology quickly.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Self-motivated and independent.
