Job Description

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Senior Executive / Assistant Manager. The successful candidate will work with surgical champions to identify opportunities for clinical quality improvement and benchmarking of procedures in the Department of Surgery.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing or medicine, with excellent data collection and analysis skills. They will be responsible for working with clinicians to identify surgical patients for inclusion in the NSQIP program, collecting preoperative, operative, and postoperative data components using hospital information systems, and attending weekly Morbidity & Mortality conferences to ensure reliable data collection of postoperative occurrences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect and analyze data on surgical patients
  • Work with clinicians to identify opportunities for quality improvement
  • Attend regular meetings with the surgical team
  • Develop and implement processes to improve data quality

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you will need to possess a Bachelor's degree from a recognized institution and have a strong background in nursing or medicine. You should also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
