Highly Skilled Marine Engineer Wanted

We are seeking a highly skilled Marine Engineer to join our team and contribute to the success of our shipbuilding division. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing engineering support and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marine engineering, with excellent knowledge of ship design, construction, and operation. They will be able to interpret technical specifications, engage with clients, and provide expert advice on complex engineering issues.
As a key member of our engineering team, you will work closely with our commercial and project management teams to ensure that all projects meet the required standards and deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide engineering support to commercial newbuilding and ship repair teams during tender exercises
- Review contracts, technical documentation, and equipment specifications to ensure compliance with design requirements
- Develop basic design concepts in line with newbuilding tenders
- Prepare drawing schedules and coordinate technical meetings with clients, classification societies, designers, vendors, and system integrators
- Implement newbuilding design and execute engineering production plans for awarded projects
- Interpret classification rules and maritime regulations, with the ability to read and understand design drawings
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in marine engineering, preferably in the shipbuilding industry
- Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD software
