Accountant (Maternity Cover)

We are seeking a skilled financial professional to cover maternity leave. The role involves group consolidation, financial reporting, and audit preparation across multiple entities. You will work closely with senior management to ensure smooth, accurate reporting during the contract period.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage monthly group consolidation and financial reporting
- Review entity-level financials and prepare variance analysis
- Coordinate closing activities, journals, and adjustments
- Liaise with auditors and support audit cycles
- Monitor intercompany transactions and eliminations

Requirements:
- Degree in Accountancy/ACCA or equivalent
- 3–5 years' experience in group accounting & consolidation
- Strong Excel skills; SAP experience preferred
- Detail-oriented, independent, and able to meet deadlines
- Retail or multi-entity experience a plus

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, be highly detail-oriented, and be able to work independently. They will also have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and be able to meet deadlines.
