Key Responsibilities

As a key member of our team at The Edge Partnership, you will be responsible for fostering strong relationships with regulatory bodies, ensuring open lines of communication, and providing regulatory compliance advisory services to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities (continued)

  • Manage compliance risks and ensure adherence to Compliance policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and highlight new regulatory requirements to relevant stakeholders and senior management.
  • Assist in addressing queries from regulators, auditors, and authorities, and ensure timely submission.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Accountancy, Banking, Finance, Business, or Law, or a relevant professional qualification in financial services.
  • At least 10 years of experience in regulatory, compliance, or advisory roles in a financial institution, preferably at banks.
  • Prior experience working as a regulator is a plus.
  • Experience in dealing with audits and/or regulatory examinations.
  • A sound understanding of the regulatory landscape and relevant laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and under pressure.
  • Fluency in both spoken and written English and Mandarin Chinese.
