Job Title: Recovery Operations Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Recovery Operations Supervisor to lead our team of professionals in ensuring the efficient recovery of aged debt. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising a medium-sized team who are responsible for Aged Debt (Recovery) and managing large segments of bad debt portfolios.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise a medium team of clerical/support employees responsible for Aged Debt (Recovery)
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve recovery processes
  • Evaluate subordinates' performance and make recommendations for pay increases, promotions, terminations, etc.
  • Make evaluative judgments to solve problems based on analysis of factual information; resolve problems by identifying and selecting solutions through the application of acquired technical experience and guided by precedents
Requirements:

The ideal candidate should have at least 2-5 years of experience in a related role with previous people management experience. A Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience is also required.

Additional requirements include good understanding of procedures and concepts within own area and basic knowledge of how own area integrates with other areas, developed communication and diplomacy skills to exchange potentially complex/sensitive information, and ability to influence decisions through advice, counsel, facilitating services to others or through joint accountability for volume, quality and timeliness of end results.
