Job Title: Debt Recovery Team Leader

Overview:
The Debt Recovery Team Leader provides strategic leadership and guidance to a medium-sized operational/administrative team of clerical/support employees. The role requires a strong understanding of procedures and concepts within the technical/subject area, as well as a basic knowledge of other areas to understand how they relate to own area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervises a medium team responsible for Aged Debt (Recovery)
  • Typically supervises a particular post charge off stage of Default Operations such as Foreclosure or Bankruptcy
  • Develops and implements policies and procedures to provide for more efficient Recovery processes
  • Influences decisions through advice, counsel, facilitating services to others or through joint accountability for volume, quality and timeliness of end results

Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 2-5 years experience in a related role with previous people management experience
- Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience
