Speech Signal Processing Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Speech Signal Processing Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing and implementing advanced speech signal processing algorithms using microphone arrays for speech enhancement and recognition.
- Responsibilities:
- Design and develop core algorithms for speech enhancement and recognition using microphone array technology.
- Contribute towards the development of voice-based products for applications such as acoustic event detection, speaker recognition, and speaker diarization.
- Develop new features and enhance existing features in speech signal processing using machine learning and AI technologies.
- Design and implement DSP algorithms in C/C++, Python, TensorFlow, and MATLAB.
- Maintain and update product software releases.
- Requirements:
- Qualifications: A Master's degree or Ph.D. in Electronics/Computer Science Engineering related disciplines, or relevant experience.
- Skills:
- Strong background in voice signal processing, including adaptive filters, speech enhancement, microphone array, noise reduction, and acoustic echo cancellation (AEC).
- Familiarity with AI algorithms and architectures and their applications in speech signal processing.
- Knowledge of using speech processing toolkits (Kaldi/ESPnet/SpeechBrian) and deep learning toolkits (PyTorch/TensorFlow).
- A fast learner with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Experience in industrial product design is a plus.
