Vice President of Voice Signal Processing Research

Speech Scientist
We are seeking a skilled researcher to conduct research and product development in voice & speech signal processing.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in voice signal processing, including adaptive filters, speech enhancement , microphone array, noise reduction, and acoustic echo cancellation (AEC).
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop core algorithms using microphone array for speech enhancement and recognition.
- Contribute towards voice-based product development for applications such as acoustic event detection, speaker recognition, and speaker diarization.
- Use machine learning and AI technologies for new feature development and existing feature enhancement in the area of speech signal processing .
- Design DSP algorithms in C/C++, Python, Tensorflow, and Matlab.
Requirements:
- PhD in Electronics/Computer Science Engineering related disciplines or Master's degree with 3+ years of relevant experience.
- Experience with AI algorithms and architectures, speech processing toolkits (Kaldi/ESPnet/SpeechBrian), and deep learning toolkits (PyTorch/Tensorflow).
- Strong background in voice signal processing and experience in industrial product design is a plus.
Desirable Skills and Experience
Some of the desirable skills include:
- Adaptive Filters , Speech Enhancement , Microphone Array, Noise Reduction, and Acoustic Echo Cancellation (AEC).
- Experience with algorithm design and implementation, as well as industrial product design.
- Familiarity with speech processing toolkits and deep learning toolkits.
