Job Opportunity: Equipment Maintenance Technician


">Job Summary">

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Equipment Maintenance Technician to join our team. As an Equipment Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment and facilities in a safe and sanitary work environment.

">Key Responsibilities:">
  • ">
  • Maintain and repair a wide range of equipment including pumps, tanks, piping, valves, and other machinery.">
  • Assist in monitoring all work performed by outside contractors.">
  • Perform predictive maintenance activities such as vibration monitoring, infrared thermography, and other tasks as assigned.">
  • Rebuild and repair complex equipment such as valves, pumps, gearboxes, and drives.">
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure proper implementation of works and services.">
">Requirements">

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • ">
  • A minimum of NITEC in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification.">
  • At least 2 years of experience in equipment maintenance, preferably in water and wastewater treatment industries or chemical process industries.">
  • Class 3 driving license (an added advantage).">
  • Ability to work 44 hours per week.">
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.">
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.">
  • Familiarity with safety protocols and procedures.">
  • Adaptability and flexibility to meet changing priorities.">
