Aerospace Component Specialist

About the Role
Raytheon Technologies is a world leader in designing, manufacturing, and servicing aircraft engines and auxiliary power units for commercial, military, and business aircraft.
We are seeking a skilled Aerospace Component Specialist to join our team. As an Aerospace Component Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our aircraft engines and components.
Responsibilities
- Repair and overhaul aerospace components using various mechanical skills such as benching, blasting, brazing, blending, polishing, welding, machining, or other required techniques.
- Follow established procedures and guidelines to meet operational requirements and quality standards.
- Support and participate in Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) programs and activities within the company.
- Report any incidents, hazardous conditions, and emergencies to the supervisor.
- Perform risk assessments and take corrective and preventive actions as necessary.
- Participate in audits and inspections as required.
- Attend EH&S training programs and take personal responsibility for safety adherence.
- Support continuous improvement programs and CORE (Customer Oriented Results & Excellence) activities within the company.
Requirements
- Minimum 'O' Level or NITEC in Engineering or relevant disciplines.
- 2 years of relevant experience or no experience with a keen interest in pursuing the aerospace industry.
- Ability to understand basic technical instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Comfortable working with hands-on tasks to operate equipment, tools, and machines.
- A curious and learning mindset – we provide on-the-job trainings and certifications.
- Self-motivated to work independently with a positive attitude towards change management.
- Good team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willing to work on rotating shifts (day and night) and overtime as needed.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Relevant aerospace, manufacturing, or precision engineering experience.
- Basic working knowledge of MS Office applications and SAP.

Estimated salary range: $70,000 - $100,000 per year based on qualifications and experience.
