
Compassionate Child Psychologist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate professional to provide one-to-one therapy sessions to children with special needs.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in child psychology, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate children's emotional, behavioural, and psychological needs.
- Develop and implement individualised treatment plans based on assessment findings and each child's unique needs and goals.
- Provide one-on-one counselling or therapy sessions using evidence-based techniques to address issues such as anxiety, depression, behavioural challenges, and social skills deficits.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to provide holistic support and ensure consistency in therapeutic interventions across environments.
- Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of each child's progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Provide guidance and resources to families, helping them understand and support their child's mental health needs.
- A recognised degree in Psychology, Counselling, or a related field.
- Valid registration with a relevant professional body.
- Previous experience working with children, particularly in a therapeutic or counselling context, is highly valued.
- Strong knowledge of child development, mental health issues, and therapeutic techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and empathetic approach to working with children and their families.
