Job Title: Financial Operations Specialist

About this role:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled financial operations professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

This role involves assisting the financial manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the accounting department, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial reporting.

  • Assist the financial manager in managing the accounting team and department operations
  • Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff
  • Prepare financial reports and statements
  • Contribute to budgeting and forecasting activities
  • Evaluate compliance with financial standards and regulations
  • Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve efficiency
  • Manage deadlines and work schedules

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of working experience in accounting or finance
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Post-secondary diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite
  • CPA certification is a plus
