Procurement Lead Job Description

Our organization is seeking a highly skilled and strategic Procurement Lead to oversee the full spectrum of procurement activities. This role will be responsible for developing sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring efficient, cost-effective, and compliant procurement of goods and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement end-to-end procurement processes for services and facilities-related requirements.
  • Engage with internal stakeholders to understand service needs and develop effective sourcing strategies.
  • Establish and maintain strategic relationships with service providers and contractors.
  • Conduct negotiations, ensure compliance with internal procurement policies and external regulations, and drive cost optimization initiatives.
  • Monitor and review contractor performance and service level agreements (SLAs).

The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of contracting, tendering, and vendor management practices, as well as excellent communication, stakeholder management, and project management skills. They will also have the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of procurement experience, with at least 3 years focused on procuring services and/or facilities management.
  • Proven track record in negotiation and cost savings initiatives.
