For a successful candidate, a strong foundation in structural steel drafting is essential, coupled with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in steel detailing or equivalent fields.

This position involves preparing intricate shop drawings for steel works, detailed fabrication drawings, and cutting plans. The ideal candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office and specialized software such as Autocad and TEKLA Structures.

  • Prepare comprehensive shop drawings for steel works
  • Develop precise fabrication drawings
  • Create detailed cutting plans
  • Perform accurate material take-offs
  • Additional drawing requirements for QA/QC, fabrication, and installation works

Key Requirements include:

A degree in Civil/Structural/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, proficiency in Microsoft Office and specialized software such as Autocad and TEKLA Structures, and certification from the Singapore Structural Steel Society (SSSS) – Structural Steel Engineer (StEr) would be advantageous.
