System Infrastructure Expert

We are seeking an experienced System Infrastructure Specialist to join our team.

  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT system management and be able to manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools.
  • Ensure the highest levels of systems and availability through proactive measures.
  • Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with developers to implement those fixes.
  • Maintain security, backup, redundancy and BCP strategies to safeguard against data loss.
  • Participate in the design of information and operational support systems.
  • Collaborate with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution.
  • Manage the VMWare environment efficiently.
  • Provide enterprise-wide support for Microsoft Azure & Redhat Linux.
  • Support HPE and Hitachi environments.

Requirements:

  • Diploma / Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience in IT system management with expertise in various aspects.
  • Initiative, positive attitude and passion in operation support are essential.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work independently.
  • Ability to start work immediately or within a short notice is advantageous.

Technical Skills:

  • System Monitoring.
  • Backup And Recovery.
  • Windows Server OS with good understanding of Windows AD, DNS, GPO and Failover Clustering.
  • SAN storage with good understanding of remote site replication (Knowledge of administrating Hitachi Virtual Storage Platform would be an added advantage).
