Lead Pharmaceutical Operations

This role is focused on overseeing the manufacturing of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) in accordance with approved production plans and meeting required quality standards.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team to achieve optimal yield, output, and quantity within budgeted costs and customer requirements.

  • Develop and implement strategies to improve manufacturing operations, including process optimization and quality control measures.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and alignment on key objectives and initiatives.

  • Maintain accurate records and reports on manufacturing operations, including yield, output, and quality metrics.

Requirements

  • At least an Honors Degree in Chemistry, Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related science discipline.

  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with significant experience working in API manufacturing environments.

  • In-depth knowledge of commissioning and operating experience of pharmaceutical plants.

  • Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, including product and production processes.

  • Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire high-performing teams.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.

  • Good business acumen and strategic thinking, with the ability to develop and implement effective business plans.
