Lead Quantity Surveyor Role

Grow into a manager position while still performing hands-on QS work.

We're seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead and guide other team members. You'll be responsible for planning, reviewing, and executing key QS tasks, from quotation to claim management.

This is a chance to develop your leadership skills, improve processes, and take ownership of projects. You'll work closely with Sales and Projects teams to ensure scope and costing alignment.

  • Review and plan all key QS tasks
  • Work with Sales and Projects to keep scope and costing aligned
  • Guide and support other QSs to stay clear and consistent
  • Improve simple tracking tools
  • Handle major VOs and client-side coordination
  • Bring structure and visibility to our costing and claim process
  • Mentor others by guiding and building trust

What We're Looking For:

  • 6 to 10 years of QS experience in construction, steel, or fabrication
  • Strong skills in quotation prep, VO handling, and cost tracking
  • Able to guide experienced QSs without needing to act like a boss
  • Confident communicator
  • Organised, reliable, and takes ownership
  • Comfortable building simple systems and planning ahead
