About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Commodities Trading Data Engineer to join our team in Singapore. As a key member of our commodities trading business, you will be responsible for developing core analytics and delivering key initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with trading, research and data teams to develop and implement data-driven solutions.
  • Drive technical and quantitative solutions to address business challenges.
  • Work with large datasets and build data analytics trading tools.
  • Integrate data and insights into models and investment processes.
  • Design scalable and maintainable solutions to improve model frameworks and performance.
  • Contribute to the development of an advanced technology platform.
Your Background
  • Strong academic record, with a BS degree or higher in Computer Science/Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent technology skills, with fluency in Python or comparable language.
  • Minimum 3-7 years of software engineering experience.
  • Experience with complex systems architectures, strong Unix operating system knowledge, and exposure to various database technologies.
  • Exposure to commodity markets is an advantage.
  • Motivated to work in a collaborative environment, with a commitment to excellence and attention to detail.
  • Fluency in Mandarin is desired.
Compensation

The estimated salary range for this role is $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
