We are seeking a talented Procurement Manager Landside to join our Logistics team at Pacific International Lines (PIL). As a critical member of our team, you will be responsible for driving and leading regional offices and agencies on country-specific action procurement plans to achieve sustainable improvement based on Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) principle.

Job Description:

You will be accountable for overall annual landside procurement plan for respective categories, formulating and aligning overall category strategy from both geographical and supplier perspective. Additionally, you will improve cost efficiency in container yards and inland transport spend category, review and improve procurement best practices in supplier negotiations, and act as a point of escalation relating to dispute and issue resolution.

Requirements:
  • Degree/Diploma in relevant disciplines such as Supply Chain, Logistics, Procurement
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant expertise in operations, procurement or related supply chain management, in shipping industry preferred
  • Experience in depot and intermodal processes, and well verses in procurement best practices
  • Experience in procurement strategy development and implementation, with cost efficiency and savings in mind
