Senior Investment Manager

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned investment professional to join our team in leading deal origination, due diligence, portfolio management, and exit strategies for high-value investments across Asia.

The ideal candidate will have a background in private equity, investment banking, or asset management, with expertise in financial modelling and deal structuring. This role involves identifying and evaluating high-potential investment opportunities, leading negotiations and structuring of investment transactions, conducting financial modeling and risk assessment, and monitoring and managing investments to drive growth and optimize value.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investment Sourcing:
    • IDentify and evaluate high-potential investment opportunities across various industries in Asia.
    • Lead negotiations and structuring of investment transactions, ensuring alignment with fund objectives.
  • Due Diligence & Financial Analysis:
    • Conduct in-depth financial modeling, valuation analysis, and risk assessment for investment opportunities.
    • Perform commercial, operational, and legal due diligence to assess the feasibility and risks of investments.
    • Prepare comprehensive investment memorandums and present findings to the Investment Committee.
  • Investment Management:
    • Monitor and manage investments, working closely with management teams to drive growth, improve operational efficiencies, and optimize value.
    • Implement strategic initiatives, financial restructuring, and business transformations to enhance performance.
    • Track financial performance, ensuring investments align with fund objectives and risk-return expectations.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Law, Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
  • Strong expertise in financial modelling, valuation, deal structuring, and risk assessment.
  • In-depth understanding of investment trends, market dynamics, and regulatory landscapes in Asia.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a strategic mindset.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks in the region.
  • Understanding of fund governance, compliance, and risk management best practices.
  • At least 3 years of experience in private equity, investment banking, management consulting, or asset management.
