This is a contract role for 2 years.

Job Objectives

Administering repair and lease orders, conversions, and warranty claims in accordance with Satair objectives and strategies to ensure timely, quality, and cost-effective delivery of products and services for highest customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for proprietary parts repair, lease, and exchange inquiries, as well as commercial questions from Satair customers and repair stations.
  • Manage customer repair, lease, and exchange orders, conversions, and warranty claims while closely monitoring supplier and repair station performance based on key performance indicators.
  • Issue repair and warranty orders to approved suppliers and repair stations.
  • Ensure timely communication with internal and external customers regarding repair order status and warranty claims.
  • Handle order conversions between exchange, sale, lease, and other options.
  • Ensure daily communication with repair stations to guarantee performance targets for open repair orders in terms of time, cost, and quality.
  • Provide customers with comprehensive and timely information regarding component repair status and alternative service solutions.
  • Ensure smooth repair order processes for proprietary and Airbus drawing parts.
  • Monitor the supply chain upstream and downstream as an end-to-end process.
  • Act as the direct contact for customers regarding process status, commercial issues, and AOG inquiries/orders.
  • Analyze, assess, and define service solutions for airlines and MRO companies, prioritizing timely and optimized delivery in the event of delivery difficulties.
  • Evaluate and assess customer-specific problems and complaints, coordinating delivery solutions with Airbus and Satair departments and external interfaces.
  • Process repairs, purchases, and sales for AIRBUS drawing parts, managing material processes and control.
  • Monitor complete orders and consolidate information on customer-specific spare parts supply.
  • Control contractually agreed delivery times and prepare higher-level orders based on key performance indicators.
  • Identify and develop improvement opportunities along the process chain, creating decision templates for general delivery improvements for management.
  • Prepare performance reports reflecting new, closed, and open claims, shop processing time, turn-around-time, and action trackers.
  • Liaise with Airbus engineering on technical queries.

Supplier/Repair Stations Relations:

  • Initiate follow-up sessions and calls with suppliers and repair stations to ensure contractual SPT and TAT are met and processes are aligned.
  • Initiate and follow up on action trackers to ensure improvement plans are met.

Secondary Responsibilities:

  • Participate in and plan external and internal visits with suppliers, repair stations, and customers in agreement with HO ASOMRM.
  • Ensure internal and external processes are reviewed and improved where needed in cooperation with ASOMRM Process Specialist.
  • Identify, initiate, or offer suggestions to improve efficiency internally and with suppliers and repair stations along the value chain.
  • Keep HO ASOMRM, Product Manager, Service Management, Repair Network Management, and Process Specialist informed of changes in supplier and repair stations performance.
  • Support the further development of individual repair stations with regards to repair capability in close cooperation with the Repair Network Management team.
  • Monitor and report on political and other conditions in the marketplace of importance to Satair's competitiveness, including competitors' behavior and activities.

Job Requirements:

  • Degree in Aeronautics or Aeronautical Engineering preferred.
  • Minimum 3-5 years working experience in Customer Order Management or Supply Chain or similar.
  • Negotiation skills.
  • Professional and practical insight and experience with purchasing and logistics (knowledge of Supply Chain fundamentals).
  • Good working knowledge of English, both written and oral.
  • Working knowledge of SAP.
  • Good analytical and numeracy skills.
  • PC literacy, including word processing, spreadsheets, and database use.
  • Good business acumen.
  • Knowledge of Customer Business and Operations, Customer expectations and needs.
  • Knowledge of Export Control Basics.
  • Technical Data Awareness.
  • Knowledge of Maintenance Oriented Airworthiness Rules and Maintenance operation.
  • IT affinity to support the digitalization of manual processes.
  • First experience in project management (LBIP/Agile).
