Job Title: Geospatial Data Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled geospatial data specialist to collect and analyze data from Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) and Seismic Refraction surveys.

About the Role

  • ">
  • The selected candidate will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting geophysical data from various sources.">
  • They will work closely with internal stakeholders to develop project plans, coordinate site meetings, and ensure timely completion of tasks.">
  • The ideal candidate should possess excellent analytical skills, proficiency in ArcGIS, and experience working with GPR and drone photography/videography.">
  • They should also be able to multitask, think strategically, and deliver results under pressure.">
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.">

Key Responsibilities

">
  1. ">
  2. Data collection and analysis from GPR and Seismic Refraction surveys.">
  3. Preparing documents and quotations for projects.">
  4. Attending site meetings and resolving technical/operational issues independently.">
  5. Liaising and working closely with internal and external stakeholders.">
  6. Handling site works, inspection, supervising trial trenching, geophysical works, planning, and other related activities.">
  7. Carrying out survey and mapping works and other site activities.">
  8. Undertaking any other work duties as required by the project.">

Requirements

  • ">
  • A degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Geology, Geophysics, or its equivalent discipline.">
  • Relevant working experience in geotechnical instrumentation, geophysics survey, soil investigation, and geophysical data interpretation and collection.">
  • Knowledge in operating and interpreting ground penetrating radar (GPR) and drone photography & videography.">
  • Proficient in ArcGIS.">
  • Independent and able to deliver under pressure.">
  • Able to think strategically and follow through on the successful implementation of plans.">
  • Team player and strong problem-solving skills.">
  • Results-driven and highly motivated.">
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.">
  • Fresh graduates are always welcome.">
