Research Engineer in 6G Communication Systems

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Research Engineer to contribute to our cutting-edge projects in 6G technology research & development, new technology prototype creation, proof-of-concept validation, and system verification. The ideal candidate will have expertise in mobile communication systems and specifications, including 4G, 5G, and beyond, with hands-on experience in practical implementation for wireless communication systems.

  • Develop technical proposals for international standardization;
  • Engage in eco-system initiatives for 6G;
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A MS or PhD degree in Electronic Engineering, Communication Engineering or Computer Science (or a closely related discipline);
  • Deep understanding of mobile communication system and specifications, including 4G, 5G, and beyond;
  • Hands-on experience in practical implementation for wireless communication systems. Competent IT and programming skills such as MATLAB, Python, C/C++;
  • Strong background in the wireless communication industry, with a proven track record of working on wireless communication technologies;
  • Expertise in at least one of the following special areas is preferred: open RAN, artificial intelligence (AI) applied to wireless communication, satellite communication systems, or immersive communication.
