We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our kitchen team as a Food Preparation Specialist. This role involves assisting in food preparation, cooking dishes across different kitchen stations, and ensuring timely delivery of food items with consistent standards and presentation.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in food preparation according to standard recipes, photographs, and instructions to meet the high expectations of our guests.
- Cook a variety of dishes across different kitchen stations, adhering to precise quality control measures.
- Ensure that all food items are delivered promptly, maintaining consistency in terms of taste, presentation, and nutritional value.
- Organize your workstation efficiently to facilitate smooth operations and maintain the highest level of service standards.
- Implement effective portion control strategies to minimize waste and ensure optimal stock levels.
- Maintain an exceptionally clean work environment, including equipment, storage areas, and walk-in refrigerators, adhering to the strictest hygiene standards.
- A minimum of one year of relevant experience in a commercial kitchen setting.
- Possession of a Food Hygiene Certificate is preferred but not mandatory.
- Willingness to adapt to a rotating shift schedule, weekends, and public holidays as needed.
