Job Title: Senior Manager, DevOps

We are seeking a seasoned Digital Quality Assurance professional to join our Technology Architecture & Policy team.

The successful candidate will define the strategic direction for both DevOps and Digital Quality Assurance and provide expert technical guidance on planning, implementation, and continuous improvement of all DevOps and Quality Assurance activities. This includes driving efficiency and excellence across digital initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establishing overarching strategies for DevOps and Digital Quality Assurance, ensuring alignment and continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies.
  • Developing common business-specific quality measurement frameworks, creating metrics, reports, and dashboards to track improvement, and reporting on quality-related outcomes to leadership.
  • Consulting on and implementing strategies to improve test efficiency and reduce test cycle time through standardized test cases, data, automation, and code/test coverage analysis.
  • Providing expert guidance to the test team on designing and implementing testing tasks.
  • Managing, coaching, and mentoring the team to meet performance targets, fostering a high-performance and collaborative environment.
  • Developing comprehensive test strategies for DevOps, facilitating automated testing throughout the lifecycle, embedding risk-based testing, and maintaining/provision cloud resources (preferably AWS) for test workloads and cloud-native initiatives.
Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must have:
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related IT discipline.
  • At least 8 years of progressive experience in DevOps and/or Quality Assurance, with a significant portion in a leadership or lead role on large-scale projects, preferably within a complex environment.
  • Strong practical knowledge of software testing concepts, quality standards and procedures, and relevant DevOps tools and practices.
  • Proficiency in various SDLC methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and process management.
  • Hands-on experience with DevOps/CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, Nexus, SonarQube) and test automation tools (e.g., Selenium).
  • Experience in implementing container solutions (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and knowledge of cloud platforms, particularly AWS.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills to effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders.
Desirable Skills:

Possessing certifications in Software Quality Assurance, Cloud (AWS preferred), or experience with Application Security scanning tools (SAST, DAST, OSS) is advantageous.
