Job Summary:

The Financial Reporting Specialist will be responsible for handling various accounting tasks and responsibilities, including month-end procedures, financial reporting, and audit support. To succeed in this role, the successful candidate must have a strong background in accounting and experience with SAP, as well as excellent analytical and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform month-end tasks such as posting journals and reconciling accounts
  • Prepare monthly reports, cash forecasts, and group financial statements
  • Support the audit process by preparing audit schedules
  • Manage GST, corporate tax, withholding tax, and transfer pricing filings
  • Analyze variances and manage cost accruals/provisions
  • Collaborate with the FP&A team on budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
  • Calculate sales incentives and coordinate with HR for payroll processing
  • Engage with external parties including auditors, tax agents, bankers, and government agencies as required
  • Drive process improvements and implement new systems and SOPs

Requirements:

  • Min degree in Accounting or ACCA qualified
  • Min 5 years of experience in GL accounting and reporting
  • Familiarity with SAP

This is a maternity cover contract lasting 9 months, working office hours from Monday to Friday. The remuneration package includes a salary up to $6900.
