Job Title: Financial Reporting Specialist

To provide and assist in management & financial reporting. Our team at ISOTeam Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to take on the role of Financial Reporting Specialist.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Ensure timely, accurate month-end closing and financial reporting to Management. This includes preparing and reviewing financial statements, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
  • Responsible for accounting processes and tasks (i.e., AP & AR process, GL, account reconciliation, etc.). The ideal candidate will have experience with financial software and systems, including Excel.
  • Ensure reporting integrity and compliance with FRS. This requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations.
  • Review and analyse monthly financial performances and key performance indicators. This involves identifying trends and areas for improvement and presenting findings to senior management.
  • Coordinate and liaise with external parties like external auditors, tax agents, corporate secretarial agents, local tax and government authorities where required. Strong communication skills are essential for this role.
  • Support forecasting and budgeting exercise. This includes gathering data, preparing budgets, and analysing variances.
  • Review and analyse actual, forecast, and budget. This involves comparing actual results to forecasts and budgets and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Support and ensure compliance with all finance filing requirements, tax filing requirements (GST/CIT), audits, procedures, and forms both statutory and internal.
  • Assist in new processes and system implementation when required. A willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies is essential for this role.
Additional Tasks:
  • Ad-hoc reporting and analysis. This may involve providing financial information to other departments or teams within the company.
  • Other duties as assigned. This may include special projects or initiatives that require financial expertise.

  • Follow the Company safety procedures, rules, and regulations. This includes adhering to established guidelines and best practices.
  • Eliminate or reduce hazards at the workplace. This requires a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating potential risks.
Requirements:Education, Qualifications & Special Training:
  • Minimum Degree in Accountancy, ACCA / CPA / CA. Alternatively, job holders without these qualifications but with relevant experience would be considered.
Knowledge & Skills:
  • Good knowledge on Financial Reporting Standards (FRS). This includes an understanding of accounting principles, regulations, and standards.
  • Possess strong analytical skills. This involves being able to collect, interpret, and present financial data effectively.
  • Proactive, committed, and good team player with effective inter-personal skills. This includes working collaboratively with others and communicating effectively.
  • Proficient in Excel. This involves having advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, pivot tables, and chart creation.
Experience:
  • Minimum 3 years financial related experiences. Preferably with experience in construction industry.
