About the Role:

  • This position involves overseeing the fabrication and construction of structures within a stipulated schedule, ensuring timely completion of projects.
  • Collaboration with senior engineers is essential for effective project coordination and to address any discrepancies in drawings or site requirements.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising a team, organizing activities, and planning tasks to meet project deadlines.
  • Reporting progress and updating stakeholders on ongoing projects is also a key aspect of this role.
  • Reviewing technical drawings, advising on discrepancies, and ensuring compliance with project requirements are critical functions.
  • Additionally, this position involves managing material procurement, deployment of manpower, and resolving technical problems that may arise during the fabrication process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with senior engineers to coordinate project schedules and resolve drawing/site discrepancies.
  • Supervise fabrication and construction teams to ensure smooth execution of projects.
  • Prepare project reports, redline markup drawings, and update engineering records as required.
  • Ensure effective management of materials, manpower, and subcontractors to deliver projects on time.
  • Review technical drawings, advise on discrepancies, and ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Perform MTO and update progressively to control material procurement and usage.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Engineering or equivalent qualification.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in structure fabrication supervision works.
  • Proven ability to manage a workforce of sub-contractors/workers in Structure fabrication and installation.
  • Flexibility to start work immediately or at short notice.
