Family Portrait Photographer

Role Overview:

As a professional family portrait photographer, you will be responsible for conducting high-quality indoor and outdoor photography sessions with families of various ages and compositions. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs and preferences, creating a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere that captures natural expressions and interactions.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct family portrait sessions using professional equipment and techniques to capture high-quality images.
  • Prepare and manage all necessary equipment, lighting, backdrops, and props prior to each session.
  • Direct and pose families to achieve flattering compositions and ensure optimal camera settings and lighting arrangements.
  • Retouch, resize, and enhance photos using Adobe Photoshop or other photo editing software to deliver high-quality, consistent results.
  • Organize, backup, and deliver image files on time according to studio standards.
  • Provide excellent customer service before, during, and after the shoot, including assisting with photo selection and product upselling.
  • Assist with administrative tasks and provide coordination support as needed.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in family photography.
  • Proficient in Adobe Photoshop with strong photo editing and retouching skills.
  • Excellent teamwork skills with a positive and professional attitude.
  • Must be available to work on weekends.
  • Reliable, punctual, and committed to delivering high standards.
  • Strong attention to detail with a keen eye for composition and aesthetics.
