Job Title: Infrastructure Deployment Manager

Job Description:
Upskills is a leading provider of financial software consulting services to investment banks and financial institutions in Asia Pacific, Middle East, and Europe. We offer expert solutions for the cash and derivatives markets, leveraging our in-depth knowledge of financial markets technologies.

We are seeking a highly motivated Infrastructure Deployment Manager with strong technical skills and hands-on experience in working with development teams to develop real-time E-Commerce systems. A successful candidate will have a strong background in automation, continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD), and release management with key responsibilities as below:

  • Manage the build and deployment of multiple trading applications.
  • Ensure that the deployment pipelines are efficient and highly automated, supporting frequent releases and changes to real-time e-commerce platforms.
  • Adhere to the standard process for build and deployment in the bank and good practices.
  • Investigate and fix environment issues.
  • Work with developers to prioritize and execute build and deployments.
  • Work with developers and DevOps to automate the build and deployment process.
  • Monitor and manage cloud infrastructure resources (e.g., AWS, Azure) used for deployments.
  • Design, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or equivalent.
  • Automate build, testing, and deployment processes to ensure efficient and error-free software releases.
  • Perform build and deployment to SIT, UAT, and Production environments.
  • Occasional evening and weekend work is expected during releases.


Requirements:
  • Master's or Bachelor's Degree, preferably from Information Technology, Computer Network, Computer Science, or relevant disciplines.
  • Minimum 6-8 years of Infrastructure Deployment Manager or DevOps Engineer experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of computer hardware, software, and OS (Windows and macOS).
  • Experienced in design, develop, and deploy CI/CD pipelines.
  • Hands-on experience in Windows server administration and basic knowledge in Linux server administration.
  • Have experience with Linux and Oracle Database.
  • Have experience about Cloud is a big plus.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Passion for learning and adapting to new technologies.
  • Experience in build and release controls and workflows, to ensure deployments are safe.
  • Basic knowledge of Data migration, Data warehouse, and database security principles.
  • Keen interest in financial markets. Working knowledge of financial products a plus.
  • Fluent English and good communication skills.
