Job Overview

We are looking for a motivated and skilled Sr Program manager in Singapore to achieve our strategic objectives by utilizing analytics. In this role, you will work collaboratively with team members across Micron's global sites to contribute to our profitability goals and future cost reduction aspirations. You will also lead cross-functional initiatives across category teams, developing and implementing actionable insights that empower the category team to meet business objectives.


About the Role

This position offers an exciting chance to create a significant impact on our global operations and strategic goals. Key Responsibilities include:

  • Be functional expert(Semicon Material, Interconnect, Mechanical, etc) to provide training & coaching to related CSM on the specific categories' should cost analysis.
  • Work closely w/ related CSM using the McKinsey Cleansheet system to do the should cost model creation, related data gathering & validation, and should cost vs. current price gap analysis & identify the continuous cost improvement opportunity.
  • Work w/ related should cost champion to quarterly evaluate, validate should cost w/ the CSM. Report the should cost related KPI including saving opportunity, should cost coverage/adherence rate etc.
  • Further enhance should cost related process and system efficiency and improve the data visualization through dashboard development.
  • Continuously work w/ CSM & SMAI team to apply process enhancement & automation for the should cost related activities.
  • Support Design for Cost efforts between Sourcing, Engineering and Business units;

Requirements

Familiarity with product cost analysis including identifying the cost structure, investigating the cost element, and continuously exploring cost improvement opportunities is required. Deep knowledge of the related commodities including operation process, equipment running cost, technical specification, and raw material consumption etc. is necessary. Additionally, strong project management skills and ability to cooperate effectively with stakeholders are crucial. PM certification is a plus.


In this role, you will be instrumental in achieving our strategic objectives by utilizing analytics. You will work collaboratively with team members across Micron's global sites to contribute to our profitability goals and future cost reduction aspirations. The estimated salary for this role is SGD 120,000 - SGD 180,000 per annum, based on the location and industry standards.
