Key Role: System Health and Cyber Security Operations

The Command Centre Commander, Vice President is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing the overall system health and cyber security operations of the Group.

This role involves managing on-site monitoring and support teams, acting as the regional command point for incident management, and leading the Command Centre team during incidents.

  • Monitoring key system and cyber health indicators to ensure prompt identification of potential issues.
  • Reviewing business trends for abnormalities and proactively addressing these concerns.
  • Managing major incidents by analyzing security alerts, assessing incident impacts, and implementing workarounds.
  • Coordinating incident response and service restoration efforts with senior management and extended teams.

Key Responsibilities include:

Leadership and Team Management

• Lead the Command Centre team in managing on-site monitoring and support teams.

• Support extended teams during incidents and ensure effective communication among stakeholders.

Cyber Security Operations

• Monitor key system and cyber health indicators to identify potential issues.

• Analyze security alerts and assess incident impacts to inform mitigation strategies.

Business Acumen

• Review business trends for abnormalities and address these concerns proactively.

• Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement strategies for improving system health and cyber security.

Required Skills and Qualifications

This role requires exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, active listening, and situational awareness. Strong analytical and cognitive skills are essential for success in this position.

The ideal candidate should have experience in incident management, banking services, and ITIL certification is preferred.

Additionally, the ability to work in a 24x7 shift environment and under pressure is crucial.
