**About the team**

The Cyber Operations Engineer is responsible for conducting, coordinating, and managing cyber operations to protect Doctor Anywhere’s networks, systems, and data from unauthorized access, threats, and vulnerabilities. This role involves actively monitoring and responding to security incidents, and implementing security measures to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets.

**About the role**
- Manage endpoint protections, cyber operations security, perimeter and cloud security.
- Respond to security incidents in a timely manner, following established incident response procedures and protocols.
- Evaluate and implement IT Security projects and solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective security controls, policies, and procedures.
- Ensure organizational compliance with internal IT Security policy, standards and procedures.
- Drive IT Audit / ISMS readiness reviews and facilitate timely issue resolution.
- Maintain and update security tools and systems to ensure they are operating effectively and providing accurate threat intelligence.
- Conduct research on emerging cyber threats, attack vectors, and vulnerabilities, and provide recommendations for improving the organization's security posture.
- Assist in the design, implementation, and management of secure network architectures and infrastructure components.
- Develop and deliver training programs and awareness initiatives to educate employees on cyber security best practices and policies.
- Prepare and maintain documentation related to cyber security operations, including incident reports, security policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, regulations, and compliance requirements related to cyber security and recommend necessary changes to align with industry standards.

**About you**
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information security, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in Cyber Security and Operations.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, operating systems, and familiar with security technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, SIEM, antivirus, EDR, PAM, DLP, SIEM, SOAR, etc.
- Familiarity with industry frameworks and standards such as NIST Cybersecurity Framework, ISO 27001, and PCI DSS is added advantage.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, AWS, GCP and Azure are preferred.
- Knowledge of the following is a plus:

- IT Security Consulting, Vendor Due Diligence, Cybersecurity Training, Vulnerability Assessment, Baseline Security Hardening;
- Cloud Infrastructure and Security;
- Industry Standards and Certifications such as ISO, PDPA, NIST, PCI-DSS, GDPR;
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation and data analysis.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate complex security issues.
- Able to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to evolving cybersecurity threats.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, evolving cyber threat landscape and stay current with emerging technologies and security trends.
- A start-up attitude - you take full ownership of things that you do, willing to go out of your comfort zones and take on new challenges.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and flexible to learn new things - we’re not done growing, and heading into uncharted territories is part of the fun
