Job Title: Public Relations Strategist

As a Public Relations Strategist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the organization's image and reputation. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies that enhance public awareness and build a positive image.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to write compelling content across various platforms and formats. Strong leadership and project management capabilities are also essential, along with experience in supervising teams and managing projects from inception to completion.

  • Develop and implement integrated communication plans to promote meaningful dialogue among residents.
  • Plan and coordinate outreach programs, stakeholder engagements, and community events to foster resident participation.
  • Lead the planning and execution of corporate and community events, ensuring alignment with goals and values.
  • Oversee the creation and curation of high-quality content for digital platforms, websites, and social media.
  • Manage online presence, ensuring timely and engaging content across platforms.
  • Prepare press releases and media responses, building relationships with media outlets and monitoring media coverage to manage public perception.

Requirements:

  • 6-8 years of experience in public relations, corporate communications, or related fields, with prior experience in public service being advantageous.
  • Proven leadership and project management capabilities, with experience supervising teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling abilities across platforms and formats.
  • Skilled in crisis communications and providing strategic counsel on sensitive or complex issues.
  • Grounded in community outreach work and comfortable with on-the-ground engagement.
