Job Description:

We are seeking an exceptional Transportation Operations Manager to join our team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for leading and managing transportation-related projects from inception to completion.

As a key member of our operations team, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify project requirements, develop implementation plans, and ensure successful execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Lead and manage transportation-related projects, monitor progress, and resolve issues to ensure timely and within-budget delivery.
  • New Business Implementation: Implement transportation solutions for new business acquisitions and expansions, working closely with the Business Development team to understand customer requirements and design efficient transportation networks.
  • Request for Quotations (RFQs): Support the RFQ process by analyzing transportation data, preparing cost models, and collaborating with the Sales team to develop competitive and accurate transportation proposals.
  • Transportation Optimization: Continuously seek opportunities to enhance transportation efficiency and cost-effectiveness, implementing strategies for route optimization, load consolidation, and other initiatives that reduce transportation spend while maintaining service excellence.
