Strategic Compliance Lead

My client, a leading international securities firm, is seeking an experienced Compliance Manager to join their Singapore office. This standalone role involves overseeing the onboarding of clients and performing due diligence and KYC checks in accordance with regulatory standards and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review key aspects of company operations to ensure adherence to applicable statutory rules and regulations, MAS notices, and guidelines as well as company policies and procedures;
- Develop, review, and update internal compliance policies and procedures to ensure alignment with regulatory changes;
- Provide education and training to employees on regulatory compliance, AML/CFT requirements, and updates to relevant policies and procedures;
- Respond to compliance-related questions and queries from authorities, management, and colleagues.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma;
- Relevant certification in compliance, risk, and governance; and/or AML/CFT would be advantageous;
- 4+ years of experience in compliance within a financial services environment, preferably in a capital markets-focused firm.
