Facilities Manager Job Description

This role is responsible for overseeing the smooth operation of our facilities.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional service to clients and maintain positive relationships.
  • HR Collaboration: Work with HR department to address manpower issues.
  • Hiring and Onboarding: Manage the hiring process for engineers, technicians, and project staff.
  • Building Operations: Monitor building operations and maintain records.
  • Communication: Participate in meetings to communicate local codes and procedures.
  • Site Operations: Maintain ongoing communication with Property Manager and relevant staff.
  • Budgeting and Scheduling: Manage project budgets and monitor scheduling.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on building code requirements.
  • Maintenance and Investigations: Maintain building equipment and conduct internal investigations.
  • Daily Operations: Assist in overseeing daily operations, including M&E works and building maintenance.
  • Job Request Monitoring: Track all job requests.
  • Project Progress: Monitor project works and their progress status.
  • KPI Monitoring: Monitor KPIs to ensure compliance with performance framework.
  • Vendor Management: Assign vendors and sub-contractors to carry out project works.
  • Reporting and Scheduling: Prepare schedules and reports related to assigned facilities.
  • Stakeholder Management: Liaise with stakeholders of assigned facilities.
  • Clearance and Training: Track clearance of vendors and conduct training for team members.

Requirements:

  • Essential Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Building, or Facilities Management:
  • Minimum 5 years of work experience in a similar role or industry.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Team-driven, multitasking, and project management skills.

Responsibilities include working in a team environment and willingness to travel to Singapore when required.
