Position Overview
Cybersecurity is a fundamental component of the operations at CAAS.

To maintain the safety and security of the Singapore air hub for air travel, it is essential that all critical systems supporting air hub operations are effectively safeguarded and resilient against the rapidly evolving and increasingly sophisticated cybersecurity threats.

CAAS is seeking a proactive and skilled individual to join the Operations and Implementation Support Section within the newly formed Cybersecurity and Data Governance Division.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and assessing the overall cybersecurity framework for both existing and upcoming CAAS Air Traffic Management (ATM) systems, ensuring adherence to government IM8 and CCoP standards.

Additionally, you will assist in the deployment of cybersecurity and data protection measures, as well as incident response and management for these systems.


Key Responsibilities

  • Enhance and review the cybersecurity standard operating procedures for ATM systems and infrastructure.
  • Propose suitable controls for implementation to strengthen the cybersecurity posture of ATM systems and infrastructure.
  • Oversee the execution of cybersecurity-related projects across CAAS, including cybersecurity design and architecture.
  • Collaborate closely with system engineers, OEMs, and maintenance contractors to ensure compliance with government ICT security standards and industry best practices.
  • Investigate incidents of cyber and data security breaches to identify root causes, working alongside system owners to resolve issues, participate in post-incident reporting, and recommend improvements to ATM systems and infrastructure to address security vulnerabilities.
  • Assist system owners in conducting cybersecurity risk assessments and reporting.
  • Engage with appointed cybersecurity consultants to carry out vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and reviews of system architecture and host configurations.
  • Implement necessary processes and procedures to protect ATM systems and infrastructure, including regular reviews of security logs and accounts, and ensuring timely application of security patches.

Qualifications

  • Educational background in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering (Computing / Telecommunication), or a related field.
  • Ability to translate cybersecurity requirements into system specifications and tailored policies.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in system project implementation and cybersecurity compliance, or experience in ICT infrastructure or network implementation.
  • Professional certifications such as Certified Information Security Auditor (CISA) and/or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) are advantageous.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing cybersecurity projects, ideally having participated in at least one complete project implementation lifecycle.
  • An active professional certification in Cybersecurity or Information Security from ISACA, (ISC)2, or a similar organization is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of information security governance, risk management, controls, vulnerability assessment/penetration testing, compliance, business continuity, investigations, system architecture and design, as well as legal and industry IT and cybersecurity best practices.
  • Ability to understand the connection between cybersecurity and broader business objectives.
  • Self-driven, independent, and a collaborative team player with a versatile skill set and a positive attitude.
  • A genuine curiosity and passion for cybersecurity, complemented by a proactive mindset.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong analytical, presentation, and negotiation abilities.

Note:
Your job title will be determined based on your relevant work experience.

Successful candidates will be offered a contract initially, with the possibility of permanent placement or contract renewal based on performance.
