Job Title: Assistant Manager, Bus Assets

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as an Assistant Manager, Bus Assets. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, supervising, and executing initiatives to enhance asset management practices, processes, and systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement asset management strategies to ensure the assets meet operational needs for a safe, green, and reliable public bus transport.
  • Drive assets' renewal/replacement to ensure they meet operational needs.
  • Conduct market scanning of bus technology developments and trends to recommend new bus design specifications that meet public transport needs.
  • Coordinate with other divisions to manage the seamless integration of key systems and technologies on to bus platform.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary Engineering qualification, preferably with a discipline in Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years of experience in service and maintenance of buses.
  • Familiar with hybrid/electric vehicles topologies will be an advantage.
  • Experience in the public bus or related industry and in data analytics will be an advantage.
  • Possess good interpersonal skills and relate well to supervisors, peers, and suppliers.
  • Possess good analytical, planning, execution, and problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Communicate effectively in terms of strong written and presentation skills with an eye for details and is IT savvy.
  • Analytical with a mind towards problem-solving.
  • Highly motivated and proactive with the ability to work independently.
