Healthcare Assistant

Job Description

The primary role of this position is to provide quality care and support to clients with various medical conditions in a Senior Care Centre. This involves performing direct care duties, including nursing care, elimination management, attending to clients' hygiene & grooming, monitoring vital signs, ensuring clients' safety during care, performing simple nursing procedures under supervision, diet management including assistance with feeding, handling medical emergencies, conducting activities, and supporting clinical administrative duties.

This position requires the ability to work effectively as part of a team, communicate clearly with colleagues and clients, and maintain confidentiality in all matters related to client care.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Physically fit and able to assist in lifting or transferring of clients
  • Able to converse in simple local languages and dialects
  • Able to handle medical emergencies and take lead in absence of clinicians
  • Reliable team member, possess positive work and good interpersonal skills
