We are seeking a dedicated caregiver to join our team at our childcare centre in Singapore.

About the Role
  • As a caregiver, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to students from birth to six years old.
  • You will work closely with our experienced staff to ensure the children receive a safe and nurturing environment that fosters their physical, emotional, and cognitive development.

Responsibilities
  • Cooking duties:
    • Prepare simple meals for students, taking into account any dietary requirements or allergies.
    • Maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen and wash dishes, adhering to high standards of hygiene and safety.
  • Cleaning duties:
    • Sweep and mop floors daily, ensuring a clean and tidy environment for the children.
    • Vacuum classroom floor and mop with disinfectant, clean and wash tables, chairs, and school equipment and devices, maintaining a high level of tidiness and organization.
    • Ensure toilets and hand wash basins throughout the centre are stocked with toilet paper and hand soap, promoting good hygiene practices among staff and children.
    • Empty all waste, rubbish, and recyclables in the appropriate disposal area, minimizing waste and promoting sustainability.
    • Perform any other duties assigned by your superiors, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in your role.
Requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with colleagues and parents.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information discreetly.
  • Familiarity with child development principles and practices, supporting the holistic growth and well-being of children.
