Junior Kitchen Leader

A key position in one of Singapore's most dynamic and fast-growing restaurant groups is currently available.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in creating menus, developing recipes and sourcing high-quality ingredients.
  • Cook Italian dishes to meet presentation and taste standards.
  • Lead junior kitchen staff and provide guidance on culinary techniques and kitchen management.
  • Maintain efficient kitchen operations and ensure adherence to food safety protocols.
  • Manage inventory levels and optimize stock usage.
  • Supervise kitchen operations during assigned shifts and address service-related challenges.
  • Up hold the highest standards of quality and contribute to ongoing improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in a professional kitchen, preferably with expertise in Italian cuisine.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
  • Solid knowledge of food preparation methods, cooking techniques and hygiene practices.
  • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and thrive under pressure.
  • Culinary certification or diploma preferred.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
  • Immediate start an advantage.
