Cell and Gene Logistics Coordinator

Marken, a leading provider of clinical supply chain solutions, is seeking a highly skilled Cell and Gene Logistics Coordinator to join our team.
Main Purpose:The Cell and Gene Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and operational support for the movement of cell and gene shipments through our network. This will include booking shipments, collaborating with global branches, tracking shipments, and proactively addressing delays and risks.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:- Coordinate daily operations related to cell and gene shipments, including communication with various branches and monitoring of Maestro.
- Develop strong relationships with internal departments, including Project Management, Operations, Customer Relationship Managers, and the Customer Services Team.
- Book shipments in Maestro, pre-alert branches and LSPs, and review customer bookings.
- Update Maestro milestones and chase any missing milestones.
- Manage client operating procedures and ensure accurate documentation.
- Monitor GPS tracking and daily dashboards.
- Provide clear information regarding shipment handling, especially in cases of delays.
- Investigate transport issues and provide support for special requirements.
- Produce daily reports detailing transport issues within the Marken network.
- Monitor LSPs and ensure 100% accuracy.
- Record PODs within agreed time frames.
- Monitor and analyze repetitive operational issues to develop solutions.
- Associate's degree or equivalent work experience.
- General logistics knowledge, preferably in the Pharma/Clinical Trials industry.
- Experience in the courier or air freight industry.
- Strong knowledge of PC and Microsoft Programs (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to adapt to inquiries and day-to-day issues.
- Eye for detail, organized, and skilled in tracking.
- Ability to multi-task and think on one's feet.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Flexibility in working hours/shift work.
